The Canadian punk scene lost a legend last week when the front man for SNFU, Ken Chinn (more famously known as Mr. Chi Pig) passed away. He was a gay, mixed race punker in early 80’s Edmonton. That could have not been easy. He battled addiction, depression and homelessness throughout his life, but he left us some incredible music.
R.I.P Mr. Chi Pig. You will be missed.
Nice writeup Bop.
Frank from Crocks has been posting a few things about him as well.

Frank sounds like a cool dude. Maybe someday they will do a movie about him and his place.

I am quite impressed, it’s a shame he’s been taken from us. Just another music death this year, which really sucks.

I will be also writing about John Prine and Rupert Hine.
Sadly as we get older, all of our musical heroes keep dying off.
